SAVE THE DATE: September 26th Michaelmas, Blessing of the Backpacks, Celebrating Confirmands, and Church School begins!

The children's "Blessing of the Backpacks", recognizing our four recently confirmed young adults, and the beginning of Church School will be held on Sunday, Sept. 26, the day St. Michael's celebrates the Feast of St. Michael and All Angels: Michaelmas. The date was moved back from Sept. 12 given general concerns with families adjusting to the new school year. We look forward to seeing everyone!

Upcoming September Book Discussion

All are welcomed to read "An Indigenous People's History of the United States" by Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz. Discussion of the book is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 29, 7:00 p.m. via Zoom. The book is the most recent selection of the St. Michael's Social Justice Group.

The St. Michael's Thrift Shop is now accepting Fall and Winter Men's and Women's clothing. Items can be dropped off at the Thrift Shop or placed in the bin in the corner of the Parish Hall. The Thrift Shop Hours are Friday and Saturday, 11 am to 3 pm. All proceeds from the sale of items in the Thrift Shop benefit the Church.

The Summer Sale continues through September!

Update on St. Michael's Choir

Given concerns about safe distancing and the increase in the spread of the Delta virus, St. Michael's Choir will not regather in person at the present time. However, Sarah Hunter, our lead section leader, will return with her gracious voice for our Sunday services. Raymond Hawkins is also searching for additional section leaders.
