Heart of Christmas Fair
2018 Christmas Fair dates: Nov 29th–Dec 1st

Marblehead celebrates its Christmas Walk the weekend of the frist Saturday in December, and St. Michael’s joins in with our Tree Lighting and Carols and the Heart of Christmas Fair. All proceeds from the Fair support the mission and programs at St. Michael's.

The fun begins on Thursday night, with carols and a tree lighting on the Washington Street/Summer Street lawn. Warm yourselves up with hot cider and chili in a bag at the tent. Friday night's Preview Party is an opportunity to snap up the very best crafts, jewelry, baked goods, chutney, Christmas wreaths, and “Rich Uncle” antiques and collectables. See a sample of previous year's goods at our Flickr site. There will be music, a Wassail bowl, wine, punch, gourmet hors d’oeuvres, and desserts. We also invite artisans and authors to set up a table with handmade items and other creations. Goods from this year's artisans include:
Angela Cook’s pottery, Giane Fuller’s shawls, Tzortzis Family Olive Oil, Hickin's Mountain Mowings Farm pickles, J&J Graphics locally-themed calendars, Jo Eaton's fiber arts and fused glass, Fishy Face Creations, Dobscha's baby blankets and bags, Nutcracker tickets, and Nora Neale's honey and beeswax candles.

On Saturday, warmth continues as bids heat up for silent auction items. Come in from the cold for artisinal hot cocoa and baked goods, and a lunch of chowder, hot dogs, and grilled cheese sandwiches. Silent auction bidding closes at 2:00 pm.
